Samantha Binstock (Lubin) is a dedicated educator and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas. She is supervised by Sharon Bien, LPC-S Her passion is helping others, particularly children, teens, and their parents. Samantha is a strong advocate for play therapy techniques to help children work through their emotions. Her counseling practice, Post Oak Family Wellness, is based in Houston, Texas.

Samantha believes that therapy is for everyone. She offers free consultations and sliding-scale pricing so that money is never a barrier to getting help. Clients can schedule a free 30-minute consultation with her to discuss their goals and challenges. Samantha is available for private sessions, group sessions, workshops, and virtual events.

In addition to her counseling practice, Samantha is also a full-time preschool teacher at The Shlenker School in Houston. Her experience in the classroom has given her valuable insights into child development and the challenges that families face. Samantha has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston Downtown, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Grand Canyon University, and a Childhood Development Associate (CDA) credential. She has also recently completed a Master’s in Education from the University of Houston Clear Lake.

Samantha has a personal understanding of the challenges of living with a disability. She has been managing Mild Cerebral Palsy (CP) since she was a child. Samantha’s own wellness journey has inspired her to help others achieve a healthier, more balanced life.
